Hello all,

What a crazy week. Due to weather the Cheerleading Competition was moved to Saturday, September 30th. Times and place all remain the same. All cheer should have been given details on the competition. We are in the morning session.

We are home this week against Abington North. Graduation for A team cheer graduates will be held during half time of C game. Your coach/advisor will reach out to the graduates about all the details.

The board voted to provide black jerseys to the B and A teams. There was a lot of discussion on this and we felt if was better to provide the jerseys instead of selling the jerseys as we could control the situation better. So for the record, I team will get blue and white jerseys along with blue and gold pants. C team will be given blue and white jerseys along with blue, gold and white pants. B and A teams will get Blue, White, Black jerseys along with the pants.

For the ACCJFL "I" team all star game: This will be held on October 14th. This is only for I team kids in their final year of eligibility (ACC Rule) and are moving up to C team next year. Place and time has yet to be determined. Coaches will provide details once we receive them.

For 2024 we are looking into providing sublimated tops for all cheerleaders. This has been an expense for the parents and for next year we are looking at providing this with registration.

Couple dates to jot down:
Robas night is October 11th. Jr Cougars are providing all the campsites for all the teams. Each team will be responsible for bringing food and drinks for their campsites. Each ticket for entry will need to be purchased by the parents. It will be provided at a discounted rate.

Year end "I" team banquet will be on December 10th at the Holiday Inn East in Dunmore. From 11-2

Year end C,B,A banquet will be on December 17th at the Montdale Country Club from 3-6.

Metlife Stadium Game is December 3rd. B team will scrimmage West at the conclusion of the Jets/Falcons game. All cheerleaders welcome to cheer on sideline. Game tickets are required for entry. You can purchase your tickets online at www.juniorcougars.com Tickets are open to the public and they are limited. If you plan on going we highly suggest you get your tickets as soon as you can.

Remember all topics are discussed at our monthly meetings. We encourage everyone to attend. These meetings are open to the public and organization members can vote on proposals that are brought forth. We understand some people will not be happy about anything on here, but if you do not come to meeting when these decisions are made then there is nothing to complain about.
