Jr Cougars Update 10-13-22

Hello all,

Can't believe the regular season is over. That was fast. A lot to go over in this email so please read this update.

Playoff start this weekend. All start times for game are moved up one hour. C, B and A games are as followed:

Sunday, October 16th
C team vs Dunmore @ Dunmore High School - 12:00 Kickoff
B team vs Riverside @ Dunmore High School - 1:45 Kickoff (appx)
A team vs Lackawanna Trail @ Lackawanna Trail High School. 3:00 Kickoff) appx.

I team ALL STAR GAME
Saturday October 15th @ Dunmore High School - 3:30 Kickoff

CHEER FOR A CAUSE Cheerleading Competition - Saturday October, 22nd @ Lake Lehman High School 9:00am

SUPER BOWL - Sunday, November 6th @ Cougar Stadium
We are hosting this event. We will need volunteers for this day. If you have not yet worked the stand this is your last chance to work. Please contact Dawn at 717-329-1842 to schedule. Anyone who fails to work the stand or has not donated a gift basket will need to make a $40 donation at equipment turn in to be able to purchase banquet tickets or receive awards.

I team banquet for Football and Cheerleading - Saturday, December 10th from 12:00 - 2:30 @ the Holiday Inn Dunmore. Details and cost will be communicated early next week.

A, B and C team Banquet - Sunday, December 4th from 3:00-6:00 at the Montdale Country Club. Details and cost will be communicated next week.

Equipment turn in will begin the week of October 24th. This will be for I team and any teams that are no longer playing. All equipment needs to be returned clean or you will be charged a $10.00 dry cleaning fee. This is becoming an issue. Please clean your uniform before returning it. Banquet tickets will be on sale at equipment turn in. Any monies owed can be paid for at this time.

PURSE BINGO FUNDRAISER- Sunday, November 13th, from 12:00-3:00 at THE ANTHRACITE CENTER in Carbondale. If you would like to donate items or purchase tickets, please contact Cynthia at 272-207-8890 Tickets are limited so get them as soon as you can and don't miss out. There will be other prizes available other than purses, a grill and other prizes will be offered.

METLIFE STADIUM GAME - B team vs Tunkhannock will be played on Sunday, November 27th, immediately following the Jets/Bears game. This is for B team Football and Cheer. You must have a purchased game ticket to participate in the event. We played in it last year and it is great opportunity to play on the Metlife Field. Ticket need to be purchased by October 21st. There is a limited amount of seats so please get your tickets ASAP. You can purchase tickets by visiting our website at www.juniorcougars.com You can also print and fill out the manual form that is attached to this email. Fill it out and write a check out to Jr Cougars, place in envelope and give to Dawn Sileo or Chris Conserette at practice or one of the games. You can also mail to 615 Warren St Peckville PA 18452
